Due to the forecasted weather conditions, the Fishing in the Park event originally scheduled for Saturday, March 7 has been rescheduled to Saturday, March 14 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Roanoke Community Park (201 Park Dr).
The safety and enjoyment of our participants is our top priority, and this change will allow for a better experience for everyone.
We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you next Saturday for a great morning of fishing, fresh air, and FREE family fun!
Parking Information:
Parking will be available at Roanoke Community Park, with additional parking located at Hawaiian Falls Roanoke.
Prize Categories:
Prizes will be awarded to 1st and 2nd place winners in the following age groups:
• 6 & Under
• 7–11
• 12–16
Event Details:
• Please bring your own fishing gear.
• A limited supply of fishing gear and bait will be available while supplies last.
• Children 16 and under are welcome to fish. Parents may assist, but may not catch fish for their child.
