The City of Roanoke, Denton County, Texas, is a growing community of nearly 11,00 located 23 miles north of Fort Worth, 30 miles west of Dallas, 5 miles from Alliance Airport, and 15 miles from DFW International Airport. Human Resources Department
The Human Resources Department supports the City’s mission by providing strategic and operational leadership in employee services. We are responsible for recruiting and retaining a qualified workforce, administering employee benefits, ensuring compliance with labor laws and policies, coordinating training and professional development opportunities, and fostering a positive, productive work environment. In addition, we oversee risk management initiatives that promote workplace safety and reduce organizational liability. Our goal is to promote excellence in public service through effective workforce management and responsive support to all municipal departments.
